The CAF Super Cup is an African football competition. It is a game between the reigning champions of the CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Champions League. Starting in 1992, it was originally contested by the winners of African Cup of Champions Clubs (Champions League after 1997) and the African Cup Winners' Cup. In 2004 it changed to its current format.
