The World Cup of Germany 1974 was the witness of the great soccer offered by Holland. The "Clockwork Orange" guided Johan Cruyff delighted the soccer world and made 14 goals in six games before reaching the final match where everybody though they were going to win their first championship.
But the host Germany had other plans and despite being down 1-0 only 2 minutes into the game, they turned it around with goals by Breitner and Muller, who became the historical top scorer of the World Cup with his goal number 14.
